We grew up in Japan and have been familiar with Matcha since we were child.
Matcha is loved around the world now.
There is some reasons for that. Not only does it taste good, but it also has many effect-efficacy you can expect from Matcha.

Most of Japanese people used to drink Matcha back in the day.
Of course you can drink matcha.
But Nowadays, more and more cafes and restaurants use Matcha powder as an ingredient to make lots of variety flavors like Matcha drink,Matcha ice cream, Matcha bread, Matcha  noodle and many more.
Additionally,There is seasoning of Matcha.

Matcha is now one of the world's health foods!!(It is called Superfood)

However, Matcha is being sold all over the world, but it is most of matcha they mix up  different types of matcha, just green tea blended and from various regions and countries.
We can't really say that it is pure matcha.
We witnessed that.
