The main nutrients are protein (10.9%), fat (2.8%) and dietary fiber (7.8%), and these numbers are not so different from those of ordinary buckwheat tea.
The biggest difference is the content of rutin, kind of polyphenol that strengthens capillaries and lowers blood pressure.
Ordinary buckwheat tea contains 1.8 mg of rutin per 100 g, but Tartary buckwheat tea contains 620 mg of rutin per 100g, which is a dramatic increase and has a bitter taste.
